The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), awarded a $1.5M commercial services contract to Regions Security Services, Inc. for armed security guards for its nine acre “APHIS One Facility Complex” located in Miami.

The USDA, The “APHIS One Facility Complex” (AOFC) includes two separate buildings located on approximately nine acres of land adjacent to the Miami International Airport. One building on the property is operated by APHIS Veterinary Services (VS) and consists of a 66,650 square foot Animal Import Center capable of quarantining 104 horses. The other building on the property consists of a two story 46,000 square foot Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) facility dedicated to the inspection of cut flowers and plant propagation material.
